You are directly responsible for the quality, accuracy, and completion of your work.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out skilled trade work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and site instructions

  • Review drawings and information before starting work and report any missing or unclear details immediately

  • Deliver high-quality workmanship, completing tasks correctly the first time and rectifying defects when required

  • Coordinate with other trades and follow the agreed work sequence on site

  • Comply with all health and safety requirements, including PPE, RAMS, and safe use of tools and equipment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in your specific trade (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, roofing, etc.)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and high finishing standards

  • Good understanding of site health and safety practices

  • Own tools and transport preferred

We are looking for experienced subcontractor teams who can manage and execute complete trade packages such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, roofing, and similar residential works.

You will coordinate with the Site Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure all work is delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, programme timelines, and health and safety requirements.

You are responsible for the delivery, quality, and completion of your assigned trade package.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver assigned trade packages in accordance with drawings, specifications, and site instructions

  • Plan, organise, and manage labour, materials, tools, and workflow

  • Review drawings and raise any missing or unclear information before starting work

  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and rectify any defects promptly

  • Coordinate with other trades and follow the agreed programme and sequence of works

  • Comply with all health and safety requirements, including RAMS and site regulations

  • Maintain productivity to meet agreed timelines and milestones

You are responsible for delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget and in line with DSB’s technical and quality standards.

You work closely with the Site Manager, QS, Technical team and subcontractors to ensure controlled and disciplined project delivery.

We operate structured projects where planning, coordination and accountability drive predictable results.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and prepare the project before construction starts, reviewing documentation, validating the programme and identifying early risks.

  • Lead project coordination and monitor delivery, ensuring site works follow programme, drawings and scope.

  • Manage subcontractor and supplier performance, ensuring work meets quality standards and deadlines.

  • Oversee project quality, safety and technical compliance

  • Control project cost, variations and stakeholder communication, working with the QS and maintaining clear communication with clients and consultants.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing residential construction projects from pre-start to handover

  • Strong understanding of programme planning, sequencing and delivery control

  • Experience managing Site Managers, subcontractors and multiple trades

  • Good commercial awareness, including cost control and variation management

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong communication skills when working with clients, consultants and internal teams

  • High standards for quality, organisation and documentation

  • Experience using digital reporting or project management systems (Odoo preferred)

What You Will Do

  • Lead and control site operations, coordinating trades and ensuring works follow drawings, specifications and company standards.

  • Plan and control the construction programme, organising daily work and identifying delays or risks early.

  • Maintain construction quality by checking workmanship, enforcing standards, and delivering a zero-defect handover.

  • Enforce health and safety on site, ensuring RAMS compliance, safe working practices and proper incident reporting.

  • Protect project scope and escalate risks, ensuring no unapproved works are executed and potential variations or delays are reported immediately.
