About the Role

DSB Premier Construction is engaging Trade Subcontractors/Subcontractor Teams to deliver defined work packages on residential construction projects.

We are looking for experienced subcontractor teams who can manage and execute complete trade packages such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, roofing, and similar residential works.

You will coordinate with the Site Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure all work is delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, programme timelines, and health and safety requirements.

The subcontractor will be responsible for the planning, resourcing, coordination, quality and successful completion of the agreed trade package in accordance with the subcontract scope, programme and project requirements. 

What You Will Do

• Deliver assigned packages of work in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed scope.

• Plan and organise labour, materials, tools, equipment and workflow for your package.

• Review drawings and project information before starting work and raise any missing, conflicting or unclear information.

• Ensure workmanship meets DSB quality standards and rectify defects promptly where required.

• Coordinate with other trades and follow the agreed programme and sequence of works.

• Monitor the progress of your package and communicate any delays, risks or issues to the Site Manager.

• Comply with project health and safety requirements, including approved RAMS and site procedures.

• Maintain sufficient labour and resources to meet agreed programme dates and milestones.

• Take responsibility for your team's work through to completion and handover of the package.

• Provide adequate supervision for your own workforce and ensure operatives are appropriately skilled and competent for the works being undertaken.

• Plan ahead and identify labour, material, access or information requirements that could affect programme or delivery.

• Attend relevant site coordination meetings where required.

• Complete snagging and defects associated with your package within agreed timescales.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering trade packages within residential construction.

• Established team with the ability to provide appropriately skilled labour.

• Strong working supervisor or team leader capable of coordinating the team's activities.

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work.

• Strong site coordination and communication skills.

• Proven focus on quality, programme and safety.

• Ability to organise and manage your own labour, tools, equipment and transport.

• Appropriate Public Liability Insurance and other relevant insurance where applicable.

• Relevant trade qualifications, certifications and competency evidence where required.

• All operatives working on DSB projects must have the appropriate right to work in the UK.

• Ability to work professionally alongside other trades and the DSB site management team.

• Ability to provide references and examples of previously completed projects/packages of a similar nature and value.

• Ability to provide RAMS and other required compliance documentation before commencing works.

• Ability to demonstrate sufficient resources and supervision for the size and complexity of the package being undertaken.

Role Summary

DSB Premier Construction is looking for experienced construction professionals who can work independently across several areas of construction or demonstrate a high level of competence within a particular trade.

This position requires someone who can understand drawings and specifications, organise their own work and consistently achieve a high-quality finish with minimal supervision.

We are looking for people who can take ownership of their assigned work, identify potential issues and deliver the required standard without constant supervision.

What DSB Offers

Indicative rate: £200 to £225 per day

The final rate will depend on the individual's experience, trade capability, proven ability to work independently and quality of workmanship.

Role Summary

DSB Premier Construction is looking for highly experienced, hands-on construction professionals capable of taking responsibility for an area or package of works while leading and coordinating a small team.

This remains a practical, hands-on position. However, the individual must also be capable of organising work, coordinating workers and trades, maintaining quality standards and taking ownership of delivery without requiring constant supervision.

The successful candidate should be able to lead by example, plan ahead, maintain productivity within their team and ensure assigned works are completed to the required quality and programme 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled construction work while leading a small team.

• Take responsibility for an assigned area or package of works.

• Organise and allocate work to workers or trades.

• Coordinate activities to maintain efficient site progress.

• Read and understand construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Check workmanship and maintain DSB quality standards.

• Monitor progress of the assigned works.

• Identify problems, delays or quality concerns and communicate them promptly.

• Coordinate effectively with the Site Manager and Project Manager.

• Help ensure workers follow agreed site procedures and instructions.

• Take ownership of the assigned works through to completion.

Role Summary

DSB Premier Construction is looking for reliable and experienced Skilled Construction Workers to support our residential construction projects.

The role is suited to someone with good practical construction experience who is competent in one or more areas of construction and can complete work safely, efficiently and to a good standard while working under the direction of the Site Manager or senior site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned construction works safely and efficiently.

• Follow instructions provided by the Site Manager, Working Team Leader or other authorised site personnel.

• Complete works to the quality standards expected by DSB Premier Construction.

• Work effectively alongside other trades and members of the site team.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.

• Follow project procedures, drawings and specifications relevant to the assigned work.

• Raise any problems, defects or concerns with the appropriate supervisor.

• Take responsibility for the quality of their own work.

Suitable Experience

Typical backgrounds may include:

• Skilled operatives

• Groundworkers

• General builders

• Carpenters

• Other skilled construction workers

What DSB Offers

Indicative rate: £180 to £200 per day

DSB Premier Construction is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead residential construction projects from pre-start through to final handover.

You are responsible for delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget and in line with DSB’s technical and quality standards.

You work closely with the Site Manager, QS, Technical team and subcontractors to ensure controlled and disciplined project delivery.

We operate structured projects where planning, coordination and accountability drive predictable results.

What You Will Do

• Plan and prepare the project before construction starts, reviewing documentation, validating the programme and identifying early risks.

• Lead project coordination and monitor delivery, ensuring site works follow programme, drawings and scope.

• Manage subcontractor and supplier performance, ensuring work meets quality standards and deadlines.

• Oversee project quality, safety and technical compliance

• Control project cost, variations and stakeholder communication, working with the QS and maintaining clear communication with clients and consultants.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing residential construction projects from pre-start to handover

• Strong understanding of programme planning, sequencing and delivery control

• Experience managing Site Managers, subcontractors and multiple trades

• Good commercial awareness, including cost control and variation management

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong communication skills when working with clients, consultants and internal teams

• High standards for quality, organisation and documentation

• Experience using digital reporting or project management systems (Odoo preferred)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management

• Full UK driving licence

You are the accountable owner of site delivery. You ensure works are executed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards in line with approved drawings and specifications.

You lead the site. The Site Supervisor supports execution, but overall performance remains your responsibility.

We operate structured sites where planning, coordination and accountability are essential.

What You Will Do

• Lead and control site operations, coordinating trades and ensuring works follow drawings, specifications and company standards.

• Plan and control the construction programme, organising daily work and identifying delays or risks early.

• Maintain construction quality by checking workmanship, enforcing standards, and delivering a zero-defect handover.

• Enforce health and safety on site, ensuring RAMS compliance, safe working practices and proper incident reporting.

• Protect project scope and escalate risks, ensuring no unapproved works are executed and potential variations or delays are reported immediately.
